The Quietest Companion - A Persian cat’s memory, still watching the green outside

— Emma, still saving her favorite spot by the window

She used to spend every afternoon by the window, curled up just so, eyes fixed on the trees outside. The same trees, every day. I never knew what she was watching — birds, maybe, or just the breeze — but she always seemed at peace there.

She was a Persian cat with a quiet soul. Soft, observant, and content just to be nearby. Those slow, still moments — me reading, her watching — became the rhythm of our home.

Then one day, she was gone. A sudden heart issue. No warning, no time.

I missed everything. The silence was too sharp. The window felt too empty.

So I asked Blulue to make a sculpture of her, exactly how she used to sit — fur folded, face soft, eyes calm. They captured her perfectly.

Now she’s back at the window. Watching the same green outside. And even though she’s not breathing, not blinking, it feels like she’s here. As if she never really left.
